The revival of the film industry for schoolchildren to be discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA

On November 9, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the "Day of the Future," dedicated to reviving film production for schoolchildren. As part of the program, new federal projects will be announced that involve schoolchildren in creating and producing media and film products. The event is organized by the ANO "Film Industry Development Centre 'Kir Bulychev Film Studio'."

The program will open with a press conference presenting the federal educational and production film project "You’re on Camera," created in collaboration with the International Children's Centre "Artek," and the flagship project of the "Kir Bulychev Film Studio" —cinematic universe of national heroes, "Chronos," which includes films based on works by science fiction writer Kir Bulychev.

Additionally, the First National Platform for Youth Content "KINOSFERUM.RF" will be launched, providing a platform for constructive dialogue between generations: schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers. The platform will offer teenagers feature films and series, animation, entertainment formats, educational programs, music, and much more. All platform content will be created by schoolchildren under the guidance of expert mentors.

Participants in the press conference will include State Duma Deputy Yana Lantratova, General Producer of the ANO "Film Industry Development Centre 'Kir Bulychev Film Studio'" Dmitry Belosokhov, President of the ANO "Film Industry Development Centre 'Kir Bulychev Film Studio'" Elbor Chernov, CEO of the First National Platform for Youth Content "KINOSFERUM.RF" Nikolai Dubovoy, Chief Editor of "KINOSFERUM.RF" Nikolai Tabashnikov, and Director of International Development for "KINOSFERUM.RF" Mikhail Fedorenko.

The program will continue with a panel discussion titled "Values and Ethics of the Future," where speakers will discuss current methods of intergenerational dialogue, tools for fostering a positive image of the future for young audiences, and engaging teenagers in shaping the cultural landscape through the creation of media and film products. 

Invited to participate in the panel discussion are Minister of Education of Russia Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Grigory Gurov, Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren "Movement of the First" Artur Orlov, Director General of the "Internet Development Institute" Alexei Goreslavsky, and Director General of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives Roman Karmanov, among others.

The "Day of the Future" will conclude with a premiere screening of the film "Mom", based on works by Kir Bulychev and directed by Dmitry Yendaltsev. The film will be widely released in Russia on "Mother’s Day," November 24, 2024.

The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The Centre is intended to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations, and regions participate in the work of the Centre.
